After having won the "SS Music Voice Hunt " title in the year 2008, Gopalan debuted into film playback in the same year. Career Īt the age of 13, Shakthisree Gopalan was already trained in the field of Carnatic music and rock. She was first auditioned in November 2008 and got the opportunity to sing her debut song for the film Taxi 4777. Eventually in 2008, she won the second season of SS Music's Voice Hunt. Since she was under 18, it ended with the auditions. During her 11th standard, SS Music conducted Voice Hunt 1. She was trained in Carnatic music for 13 years. She moved to Chennai after her school and pursued her degree in architecture at the Anna University's School of Architecture and Planning. She did her schooling in Rajagiri Public School, Kalamassery. Composer Sam CS has taken the route with an album majorly banking on instruments. Yet another rendition by Chennai Orchestra for Vikram Vedha. It is a very attractive instrumental piece. It has also been composed by Chennai Orchestra and the backbone of this emotional number is the violin portions complimented well by the string usage. Idhu Emosion, as the name suggests, is an emotion kindling song. Chennai orchestra give another unique number with the use of instruments like Lute and Sarod which are Indian string instruments and also use synth to add a western flavour. Again, the music from the teaser has been played well with.

Ghetto Chase is a fast paced number sung by Meghavarshini, Avantika and Monisha and is a typical situation song that is proof that the movie can be expected to have a musical narrative. Composer Sam CS has delivered a neat song in the melody genre. It has some nice use of strings, Oud, flute and traces of violin as well. Nega Venugopal has a sweet voice and this compliments Pradeep’s beautiful vocals. Singer Pradeep Kumar who’s voice was magical in ‘Poo Avizhum’ sounds very impressive with Pogatha Yennavittu as well. It gives the Eerie feel as well.Ī beautiful song for the situation of love. It has some really nice beats and a good fusion of guitars and Cello with a very superior mixing and mastering that enhances this track by Chennai Orchestra. It is a different and very innovative song.Ī complete instrumental by Chennai Orchestra, Yethu Dharmam is a high octane number. In fact, Vijay Sethupathi’s voice is also heard in between. Instruments used are majorly percussion oriented and the composer has played well with the vocals and the modulations. Sung by the whacky vocals of Mugesh, MLR Karthick and Guna, it is a proper situation based song that is on the lines of “Onnu Rendu” from Iraivi. Singers: Mugesh, M L R Karthick, Guna And Chorus String instruments like Banjo and Harp have been used well and Yaanji Yaanji is a nice melodious track that is likeable by one and all. Anirudh is at his usual good form and the tune is catchy and quite simple that makes it hummable. There is a mild use of autotune and Shakthisree sounds soothing yet stylish.
